        Counseling

        Picture
In 2000, after a 25 year career in technology field, I decided to professionally pursue my long-term passion for counseling. Although I enjoy individual counseling, my fervor is to help couples, families, and blended families improve and enjoy their relationship. A summary of my services and values are presented below.

With a Bachelors degree in Math and a Masters degree in Counseling and Human Services, I have a unique background. In addition to being a licensed counselor, my role as an ordained Christian minister permits me to address spirituality if requested.

At 57 years of age, I am blessed with a delightful wife of 35 years, two grown, married daughters and a granddaughter. I am committed to using these years of experience, both successes and failures, to help other people.

If you require counseling and live in the Denver to Colorado Springs area, please click on the contact tab for a variety of ways to seek more information or to setup an appointment. In addition to providing a sliding cash scale, I am a provider for several insurance companies.

        Values and Beliefs

Relationship issues are at the center of many long term problems.

Positive sustainable change normally requires a spiritual component.

Relational issues are never caused solely by one person.

Counseling should be terminated when all goals have been met.

A close friendship may eliminate the need for professional counseling.

Homework between sessions is a vital aspect of effective counseling
